Who or what are we really in life? What constitutes the true basis of our existence? Are we merely a random accumulation of molecules and atoms, a physical mass of blood, muscle, and bone, or are we in truth composed of immaterial structures? And what about consciousness and the soul? Both are immaterial aspects that define our present reality. They shape our lives and are responsible for our current state. Does this mean we are consciousness, are we the soul, or simply an energetic state vibrating at a certain frequency? It's worth taking a closer look.

These questions have always preoccupied humankind, and it is precisely to them that I wish to dedicate this article. For when we truly understand what we are made of at our core, our entire perspective on life, on death, and on everything that surrounds us changes.

Everything is consciousness

Sea of clouds in the sunlight Let me preface this by saying that we are essentially what we identify with. If a person identifies solely with their body, with their physical shell, and assumes that this constitutes their entire existence, then that is their lived truth at that moment. We create our own reality based on our own thought processes, and what we believe, what we are completely convinced of, forms the foundation of our lives. But beyond all personal identifications, there is a primal ground that permeates all life and constitutes a very large part of our reality, and that is consciousness. Everything in existence consists of consciousness and the thought processes that arise from it. Nothing in creation can come into being without consciousness, because everything originates from this consciousness. Even these words immortalized here are merely a result of my consciousness, my mental imagination. I first conceived each individual sentence in my mind and then realized it on the physical plane via the keyboard. And this very principle pervades all of creation. Every house, every work of art, every thought, and every feeling originated as a purely mental concept before finding its way into the material world. Mind governs matter, and the outer world always adapts to our inner state. Seen in this light, consciousness is not just any part of us, but the creative foundation from which everything emerges.

The timeless nature of consciousness

Praying hands in the light Everything we experience in our own lives can be traced back to the creative power of our consciousness. All material and immaterial states are merely an expression of an overarching consciousness. This consciousness possesses fascinating properties, for it consists of timeless energy, is permanently present, infinite, and represents the highest authority in existence—that is, God—and is constantly expanding (our own). Consciousness is constantly expandingBecause of this timeless and spaceless nature, consciousness is omnipresent and found everywhere. The same is true of our thoughts; they too are timeless and spaceless, which is why there are no limitations or aging processes in our imagination. If we imagine a man living on an island, this man does not age in our minds unless we explicitly imagine him to. Space itself is nonexistent there, because spatial boundaries do not exist in our thoughts. A gigantic consciousness that constantly experiences itself and becomes completely individualized through incarnation.

We are the soul and use consciousness as a tool.

Meditation and Chakra Energy But if that's the case, what about our own soul, that five-dimensional, energetically luminous aspect of our reality? To explain this, we need to take a closer look at energetic states. These can become denser or less dense. Energetically dense states are always attributable to our own egoistic mind, which is responsible for all self-generated negativity—that is, for base thoughts and actions such as hatred, envy, anger, judgment, greed, and jealousy. Positivity, in the sense of harmony, love, peace, and balance, on the other hand, is attributable to our own spiritual mind. The soul is therefore the energetically luminous part of our reality, our true self, which constantly longs to be lived. We are, therefore, the soul—sensitive, loving beings made of consciousness, surrounded by it, and using it as a tool for experiencing and creating life. This distinction is of utmost importance, for it shows us that we are never merely our transient shell. For those who would like to learn more about the spiritual aspects within us, we recommend taking a look at... our creative nature heartfelt.

The return to the true self

We don't always act from our true essence, as the ego often prevails. Nevertheless, the soul is our constant companion, providing us with a great deal of life energy, because fundamentally, human beings strive for love and joy in their lives. When we begin to identify with our own soul, we start to view life from a high-vibrational, loving perspective. We become aware of our powerful inner strength, become free, and attract more love and positivity into our lives (following the law of resonance, which states that energy always attracts energy of the same intensity). Reaching this goal usually takes a long time, because it requires a long journey to first relinquish our egoistic mind and second, to act from unconditional, true love in all areas of life.

Closing words

Ultimately, this is precisely the great task, the high goal that every person will experience at the end of their incarnation journey. We are the very essence of the soul, a being of light remembering our divine origin. Everything always begins within us, in our spirit; never forget that. With that in mind, stay healthy, content, and live a life in harmony. 🙂
