Today's energy, December 24, 2025, brings us a special and, above all, annual magical energy quality, because it is Christmas Eve. In this respect, the energy of Christmas Eve is also extremely powerful, because this day, and the days surrounding it, carry within them both pure Christ energy and the energy of the winter solstice. Thus, a few days ago (on December 21nd) with the winter solstice (one of the four annual sun festivals) the winter has fully begun.
The energy of the winter solstice festival
This special event was celebrated by earlier cultures, for example by the pagan Germanic peoples, as a sun-birth festival – “Julefest” (the true Christmas) and coincides with the full activation of winter. Thus, the winter solstice marks a major turning point, as this day marks the darkest day of the year, when the day is shortest and the night longest (less than 8 hours). The winter solstice therefore represents exactly the point at which the days slowly become brighter again and we therefore experience more daylight. Thus, after this special event, we are heading towards the return of the light (vernal equinox) and consequently experience a return to vitality and deep activation within nature. For this reason, the Celts fasted on December 24th and viewed the sun as a cosmic force that returns two days after the winter solstice. Today's Christmas Eve is therefore fundamentally based on the return of the light and is an ancient festival of transition, which is also meant to connect us with our inner light.
The Birth of Christ Consciousness
Furthermore, the energy of Christ consciousness also flows into this day. Thus, the day represents the birth of Christ. Christ himself, in turn, represents the highest manifestable state of consciousness, that is, the manifested unity with God, which carries within it all aspects of light (Moreover, the key to healing the world is that we save ourselves and the world – inside and out – by regaining our purest state.). Christmas Eve therefore begins with the activation (birthThis state is accompanied by the divine spark that exists in every human being and is meant to awaken us and remind us of what is anchored in the depths of our being. Fittingly, on this day, many people will also automatically experience some aspects of the Christ consciousness state (at least if we disregard the overindulgence, excessive consumption, and Christmas stress.).
Surrender to the calm
We are thus more attuned to the energy of peace, reflection, relaxation, love for our neighbors, family, and inner peace. It's about sitting down with our loved ones and spending harmonious time together. Furthermore, giving takes center stage, and many people are more inclined to support others in need. These are all aspects of the Christ consciousness state that are significantly more present than usual on this day and are automatically lived more fully. For this reason, there are few days I personally love as much as Christmas Eve. Because so many people, especially as evening approaches, carry the energy of peace and reflection within them, a profound tranquility generally prevails. Walking through the woods on Christmas Eve is therefore a true blessing for me every year, as the collective peace is palpable with every step. Even the animal world seems to perceive this special energy and, in my experience—at least in the surrounding forests—behaves noticeably quieter, more mindful, and more present.
The energy of holiness
Finally, the energy of holiness is also much more in focus. We must not forget that on this day a large part of the collective continuously uses the word holiness – in the spirit of Christmas Eve – is expressed, or at least repeatedly invoked in our thoughts. Since we know that at its core everything is based on vibration and resonance, and that even thoughts and words are nothing more than pure energy constantly flowing into the collective field, this process works deeply into our shared consciousness. It is therefore hardly surprising that a palpable energy of holiness unfolds from this collective alignment, permeating this day on a subtle level and giving it its special quality. And to complete the circle, consciously thinking in holiness – the inner recall of appropriate words and carrying this vibration in one's own mind – is also a natural expression of Christ consciousness. It is that state of consciousness in which love, peace, compassion, and connection are not only thought but inwardly embodied and silently expand into the collective field.
