With today's daily energy on July 10, 2025, we are being influenced by a powerful full moon in the sign of Capricorn, which in turn is opposed by the sun in the sign of Cancer (the full moon will manifest late this evening at 22:37 p.m.). For this reason, a special mixture of energies is reaching us, which on the one hand strongly addresses our root chakra, but on the other hand also Challenges can be confronted (ruling planet Saturn – challenges need to be mastered now). Due to the Sun/Cancer energy, we may react sensitively to corresponding circumstances. This transition alone brings a breath of fresh air into intellectual processes, communication, and technology, and can generally be viewed as an extreme accelerator on all levels (iI refer to the “Turning point article"). Viewed in this light, today's full moon also unfolds a very special effect - because it is the first to be in the resonance field of the new Uranus impulse. The full moon could therefore give us the first clues as to how the turning point in our lives wants to manifest itself. Perhaps new paths, visions or truths will reveal themselves that were previously hidden in the fog. Or perhaps we will sense where we are still clinging too tightly to the old - and recognize precisely there the power of change that calls us to liberation. It is a full moon of thresholds - a portal between past and future, stability and change, grounding and departure. Those who consciously open themselves up now can not only receive but also completely realign themselves spiritually.
The Full Moon/Capricorn and Sun/Cancer Energy
Otherwise, today's Capricorn full moon can make us aware of where we still stand on shaky foundations—be it externally or even in our inner world. Perhaps we'll recognize which areas of life don't offer us true stability, or where we've distanced ourselves from our roots. The contrast between the Capricorn moon energy and the opposing Cancer sun illuminates our need for security in external structure as well as our longing for emotional comfort within. It will be an invitation to let go of the old and reorient ourselves—toward a life that brings not only external order but also spiritual stability. In this tension between duty and emotion, structure and devotion, it becomes clear where we control ourselves too tightly—and where we can learn to soften without losing our own stability. Capricorn reminds us that true strength comes from inner clarity, not from rigid control. And the Cancer sun whispers to us that true security arises where we allow ourselves to be truthful.
